Fresh Microwave Popcorn

(Serves 1)

1/4 c. popcorn kernels
Pinch of salt
Brown paper lunch sack

  1. Place popcorn kernels in a brown paper lunch sack. Fold top of back down 2 or 3 times.
  2. Microwave for 1-2 minutes, until popping slows or ceases (to avoid burning).
  3. Season lightly with salt or another seasoning (savory or sweet – e.g. cinnamon/sugar).
